Eggless marble chocolate cookies crunchy outside and slightly chewy inside!



Ingredients:

2 1/3 cups plain flour
1 cup margarine
1/4 tsp baking soda and 1/4 tsp baking powder2 tbsp milk
1/2 cup castor sugar/powdered sugar (blended sugar)
1 tsp vanilla essence
1/4 cups cocoa powder



  1. Take a large bowl, beat together margarine and castor sugar until creamy. Add milk and vanilla beat till fluffy. Sift and combine flour, baking soda and baking powder. Stir into the margarine and sugar mixture and form a dough. Divide half of the dough, add cocoa powder and knead well. Press the chocolate dough with the white dough to form a beautiful marbled swirls. Wrap in a clingfilm plastic and freeze for 10 minutes. Make 1 inched balls out from dough, flatten it slightly by leaving 2 cm distance between each cookie.
  2.  Chill for at least one hour.
  3. Preheat oven to 200 degrees C for 15 minutes.
  4. Bake for 15 - 20 minutes in the preheated oven on 150 degrees C, or until lightly golden at the edges. Remove from cookie sheets to cool. Enjoy your cookies with tea or juice!
