Deep Fried Cheese Stick Savory Snacks recipe Baguette Fromage




The most common and nicest cheese savories treat that me and my husband enjoy having at tea time when we are watching our favorite movies. 



They are deep fried they are very crispy and flaky






Ingredients:
1½ cup plain flour
1 pinch baking powder
150 gram melted margarine
30 gram melted cheddar cheese
Vegetable refined oil for frying

Method:

Sift flour, salt and baking powder





Melt margarine in microwave for 1 to 2 minutes and let cool




Add to the sifted flour




Melt the cheddar cheese for 1 minute by checking out every 30 seconds in case it may turn brown, it should be liquid.





Now add melted cheese to the flour and margarine mixture. Knead until it forms into a firm soft dough





Dust some flour on your rolling pin and working board





Divide the dough into 4 portions, dust some flour if your dough is too sticky. Roll into a very thin flat shape






Cut into stripes with a knife.






Deep fry until golden brown 




Use a slotted spoon to remove the cheese sticks to get rid of oil excess






Serve with tea
